LA CAPITANA OLD SAN JUAN BUILDING, San Juan – A Smart Stay in the City

The hotel is beyond the call of duty, providing a different experience with clean and comfortable rooms in a corner location. The friendly and helpful service goes above and beyond, even at night, with fantastic laundry service. The excellent location offers a great view and experience of Old San Juan, close to everything for restaurants and dancing. The dining experience is very good, especially the hot wok dishes. Overall, the facilities are top-notch with a pool and breakfast, making it worth the value for money.

Staying at this hotel was an interesting experience. On the one hand, it was located at the third floor of a building without an elevator, which can be inconvenient, especially for two couples. However, the place was absolutely filthy when I arrived, which was quite disappointing. On the bright side, it is a good candidate for San Juan's Most Haunted.

I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The first room I stayed in was spacious and accommodating, but unfortunately, it appeared tired and not very clean. The service, however, was fantastic, with the staff being helpful and pleasant, quickly resolving any issues we had. The location was great, overlooking the ocean, even though the area is still recovering from a past storm. The dining options were satisfactory, although not exceptional. Overall, a decent stay with some areas needing improvement.
